Firstly, welcome to Geekcultered.com!
This little site of mine started a few years ago as I needed to let off some steam about issues around work. I then found, three days and a lot of sleep later, that I had far more to say on subjects of interest, Film, Television and Gaming are my three biggest pass times so why would I not want to write about them, right?
I set about on a little personal journey. These halls were unlittered and clean as I avoided posting for long stretches and found I had little to say. Disillusioned by the dream of doing this for a living I now make do with this writing thing as a hobby, something I do to share with the people around me who may find something interesting in my words.
Without getting too heart felt I’ll leave you a little about myself that you may have not picked up on already know. I love science fiction and am more at home in an internet forum than a social gathering. I read comics, collect TV shows on DVD and am slowly building a pretty admirable Blu-ray collection up over time. This, as I said above, is a hobby I do while working full time and is something I love to do.
George Lucas slowly kills my childhood with every edition of Star Wars that is released without the original cuts and even more changes and if I could buy anything it would be a real life Cylon (Or, of course, Mcfly’s trainers from Back to the Future Part II). Hopefully now you understand my motives and a little more about me. Hopefully this doesn’t scare you off.
